From Our Kitchen Table to the Pages of Wirral Life
When we started MELYR, it wasn’t with a splashy launch or a perfect plan, it was just the two of us, a big idea, and a kitchen table covered in fabric swatches, notes, and tea mugs.
So seeing our story shared in Wirral Life Magazine this month feels like a full-circle moment.
This brand was born out of frustration; with fashion, with fit, with the feeling that midlife women were being quietly erased from the style conversation. I never set out to become the face of MELYR, but I quickly realised: if I wanted to build a brand that represented real women, I had to show up as one.
This feature means a lot because it doesn’t just celebrate what we make, it celebrates why we make it. The long days. The trial-and-error fittings. The conversations with incredible women who wanted clothes that understood their changing bodies.
To anyone who’s supported us so far - from wearing your MELYRFLEX on repeat, to telling your friends, to cheering us on quietly in the background - thank you. You’ve helped build this brand from the ground up.
