That's the whole point of Ravello. The MELYRFLEX waistband sits inside, hidden under soft pleats from waist to hip, so there's nothing to see and nothing to adjust. It holds through the middle, moves when you move, and doesn't roll down when you sit. No zips, no buttons, nothing to fasten. You forget it's there because it never asks you to think about it.
The fabric is LENZING™ modal, cotton and elastane, with a faint sheen that lifts as the day goes on. Opaque, light, and soft enough that it feels like the trousers you'd wear to do nothing in, except these take you from your desk to dinner without a change of clothes.
Wear it with a sharp blazer for work. With the Aimee top and bare ankles for evening. Either way, the wide leg falls straight and the waistband stays exactly where you left it.

Soft pleats cover it from waist to hip, so nothing shows. Nothing digs, and nothing needs adjusting after lunch.

Will I be too warm in them?
The fabric is LENZING™ Modal and cotton. Lenzing Modal is made in Austria from beechwood, and it breathes. It takes in moisture and releases it again instead of trapping heat against your skin, and it holds more moisture than cotton does. The waistband is sweat-wicking too. They'll be comfortable when you run warm and the fabric stays soft wash after wash.
Will the waistband feel comfortable all day?
Yes. The hidden MELYRFLEX waistband gives you support and medium compression through the middle, so you feel held without being squeezed. It's made from sweat-wicking performance fabric and doesn't roll down when you sit, and soft pleats cover it from waist to hip so nothing shows. You can put them on at 7:30am and not think about them again.

What is Modal fabric?
LENZING™ Modal and cotton blend, with a little stretch. The modal is made in Austria from beechwood. It's one of the softest fibres there is, it drapes rather than clings, and it has a faint sheen that dresses the trousers up for the evening. The cotton gives the fabric body, so it hangs well and stays opaque. The elastane means it moves and recovers when you do: sitting, reaching, walking.
It breathes, too. Modal takes in moisture and releases it again, so the fabric doesn't trap heat against your skin. It stays soft wash after wash and keeps its shape.

I'm between sizes. How do I choose?
Ravello comes in sizes 10 to 24. The regular leg is 30", and the long leg is 33". To choose a length, measure the inside leg of a pair of trousers you already know fit, or measure from your groin to an inch above the floor. If they're not perfect, returns and exchanges are free, or you can try them at home first with Try Before You Buy.
Will the waistband dig in if I'm sitting?
No. The hidden MELYRFLEX waistband gives you support and medium compression, so you feel held through the middle without anything cutting in. It's made from soft, sweat-wicking performance fabric that stretches with you when you sit, and it doesn't roll down. Soft pleats cover it from waist to hip, so nothing shows. You won't be adjusting it after lunch, halfway through a meeting or on the drive home.
Do I machine or hand wash?
Ravello is machine washable at 30 degrees. To ensure longevity we recommend hand-washing or dry cleaning where possible. Do not tumble dry.
How does Try Before You Buy actually work?
Choose Try Before You Buy at checkout and we place a hold on your card for the full amount, nothing is taken. You've got 3 days from delivery to try them properly: sit down, walk around, wear them for a real afternoon. Tell us what's staying through the link in your confirmation email, and we'll charge you for those only. Everything else goes back with the prepaid label already in the box. Returning the lot carries a small £6 restocking fee. Card payments only, since the hold needs a real card behind it.
